How is that fair? You do realize that what might be right to you or for you, isn’t right to or for everyone else in this country? Catering and pampering a certain group people for sharing the same beliefs, non-beliefs, WHATEVER is not right, it is biased and unfair.
Why should the President have use his/her…
They don’t. They only portray themselves as followers to gain the support of the sect. If the majority of voters were hindu, you can bet your *** there would be politicians who claim to be hindu. Politicians are carrying out the agenda of very powerful people and have no real vested interest in you or your faith. They just want your vote.
1) Why do some Christians want a President to make all his/her decisions based on Religious beliefs?
For the same reasons that some atheists want a President to make all of his/her decisions without ever taking God into consideration.
2) How is that fair?
You mean: it would be fair if the U.S. President were not allowed to make his or her decisions based on his religious beliefs? Isn’t that a violation of the President’s freedom of religion?
3) You do realize that what might be right to you or for you, isn’t right to or for everyone else in this country?
Of course I realize that. I have personally met convicted thieves who believe they were right to steal. Considering the existence of organizations like NAMBLA, I am certain that a great many pedophiles consider things to be right that Christians believe are wrong. Naturally, I want a President who has the very same morality as myself.
4) Catering and pampering a certain group people for sharing the same beliefs, non-beliefs, WHATEVER is not right, it is biased and unfair.
Different issue. Besides, the President is *elected* and is, because of that, supposed to represent the people of America – especially the majority of voters. Of course, he is also supposed to uphold the law, but theoretically he can do so AND make all of his Presidential decisions based on his religious beliefs.
5) Why should the President have use his/her religious beliefs as a template on how this country or any country should be run?
Because if the President were a devout Christian, that would make for a better country.
6) Better Question: Why is it almost always about what the Christians want?
Actually – isn’t this entire whine-fest really all about what YOU want?
That’s not entirely true. They got their knickers in a major know when Kennedy won, because then he’d be “taking orders from the Vatican”.
And the most successful smear of Obama to date has been that he is a secret Muslim bent on bring Shariah law to the U.S.
So there are at least “some” Presidents they don’t believe should be making decisions base on religious beliefs–just, you know, the RIGHT religious beliefs
They’re righteous, so righteous, so righteous. They’re always so right.
Except when they’re wrong. I can imagine them being up in arms if a country elected a Voudun worshipper President who led the country based on their religious beliefs.
Because they apparently have no idea what the constitution says about the presidential office.
Also, they seem to think that Medieval Europe was super-shiny-fun-time.
They want the government to approve their religion over all other religions because they have weak faith that needs to constantly be reaffirmed.
Because Christians, like every other retarded religion, think their way of life is correct.
Because they hate our freedom.
