How do deep water currents affect the number of organisms found in the area by circulating nutrients?

I don’t understand this. Can you explain to me how deep water currents affect the number of organisms found in the area by circulating nutrients?

Well, all organisms need nutrients to thrive. We forage, hunt, and cook to eat which gives nutrients to out bodies. Yet, some organisms are too small or cannot move to find theirs. So, they take the nutrients from their surroundings. Like when a mold is growing on bread, it is taking the nutrients from the bread.

What happens when someone eats all the food in their fridge? It is all gone. So, they get more. Yet, some organisms, as I previously stated, are too small to move around or cannot move at all. So, if they digest all the surrounding nutrients, there is nothing left for them to live on.

Therefore, the deep water currents affect the number of organisms found in the area by circulating nutrients, and by always providing the organisms with nutrients. This way, they never run out and always have a replenished stock of nutrients to digest.
